Kweku of Ghana (K.O.G & The Zongo Brigade) and Tom Excell (Nubian Twist) are at the heart of this group and the album features a slew of guests over the 19 tracks which is very much a pan-African project. For this writer it is the positive energy, which never lets up throughout, that attracts – anything K.O.G is involved in must be heard. Simply the grooviest record you’ll hear this year, and by the way a great one for all your New Year’s parties.
