Music Writers & Journalists
- A passionate love and basic knowledge of world music and global beats.
- A fluent, engaging writing style with a strong command of the English language.
- Commitment to contribute at least one feature per month, which can be a gig preview, live review, album review, or an artist interview.
- Creative initiative, we actively encourage you to pitch completely new feature concepts, editorial directions, or unique media project ideas.
- Based anywhere in the UK or internationally.
Photographers
- Comfortable shooting in low light environments like indoor gigs, concert stages, and club nights, as well as open air events and festivals.
- A portfolio showing your work or style across concerts, portraits, or club photos.
- Access to your own camera equipment.
- Sending over your final edited photo picks soon after the show ends.
- Ready to cover gigs, festivals, and live music events directly within your local scene.
Other Creative Roles & Ideas
- Videographers for capturing live sessions, interviews, and event coverage.
- PR, Marketing, and Social Media to help us grow our audience and connect with new communities.
