KAVOS, a Greek-jazz fusion group from Canberra, emerged in 2023 from Constantine Campbell’s doctoral work on combining jazz with Greek rebetika music.

The band’s debut, Pirates of Piraeus, draws inspiration from rebetika’s essence, featuring Campbell on sax and vocals, alongside Canberra’s top musicians.
