Blick Bassy‘s latest single, “Todè,” released on the 30th of April by French label InFiné, explores themes of awakening to the beauty of nature and human consciousness of this treasure. The track showcases Bassy’s signature blend of contemporary electronic beats with his expressive Bassa vocals.

“Todè” serves as a tantalising introduction to Bassy’s forthcoming album, MÁDIBÁ NI MBONDI, scheduled for release on the 17th of May. For this project, Blick collaborates with artists Yamé and RY X, merging soulful music with electronic compositions. The single showcases Bassy’s signature style, which amalgamates elements of electronica, pop, and soul with the rich cultural heritage of his African roots, offering a glimpse into the expansive sonic landscape of the upcoming album.
