Calgary reggae band Sonic Alley share a visualiser for “Rock The Night”, adding a visual component to their June 2025 single originally released on 19 June. The track pushes further into lovers-rock territory whilst keeping one eye on their album, scheduled for May 2026. The band handled every aspect of production themselves: Rhett Reilkoff, Caleb Hart, Pedro Acosta and Jhaundevaki Johnson wrote, recorded, engineered, produced, mixed and mastered the track.
The track opens quietly before the rhythm section locks in and the arrangement opens up. Off-beat guitar, melodic bass and layered vocal harmonies build over a one-drop foundation, with horns and call-and-response backing adding texture as the performance settles into romance and late-night celebration. Sonic Alley describe their work as a mission to “heal hearts and spread joy”, and “Rock The Night” backs that up by pairing classic lovers-rock structure with cleaner, more contemporary production choices.

The multicultural lineup — a Canadian guitarist, Venezuelan bassist, Tobagonian singer and Jamaican drummer — completed a summer tour across western Canada following the Rolling Stone feature, moving between intimate venues and larger festival stages with a sound that crosses R&B, Latin fusion and reggae.
