Danish septet Total Hip Replacement‘s new single “Watch It Burn” combines reggae, funk and pop with Ghanaian highlife, addressing generational theft and advocating for change.
The track features collaborations with Ghana/UK multi-instrumentalist Kwame Yeboah and Ghanaian musicians Frank Prah, Emmanuel Ackon, and Richmond Lamptey. It challenges older generations’ passivity towards global crises, emphasising unity and action through its energetic mix of guitars, percussion, horns, and basslines.
