Sitar player, Anupama Bhagwat returns to the festival after 10 years with her signature sound, which demonstrates her formidable ability to construct and improvise lyrically. She learnt her art from the late Pandit Bimalendu Mukherjee of the Imdadkhani Gharana (school of music). She is accompanied by Ojas Adhiya on tabla, who brings his own spiritual and effortless rhythmic magic .

For the second half of the show, India’s foremost vocalist Pandit Ulhas Kashalkar returns after 12 years to perform late night ragas. Kashalkar has uniquely innovated the ability to switch between Gwalior, Jaipur and Agra styles of vocals within a single performance. Pandit Yogesh Samsi accompanies on the tabla, noted for his musical intuition and masterful improvisational dexterity, and Chinmay Kolhatkar provides an enhancing accompaniment on harmonium.
