Mix: Radio Mukambo #570 – Iconoclastic Traditions on a Beat

Radio Mukambo starts downtempo with some Latin and African electronic productions and remixes, including Ozferti‘s “Sudanithiopia” in the spotlight. The French producer Ozferti is known for his Ethio-hop productions, a mix of Ethio-jazz and hiphop beats. On his latest album, he adds sounds from Sudan in the mix.

The second half of the tempo gets you into uptempo jump and dance music, including two new singles by Congolese afrorockers Jupiter & Okwess

++ uptempo cumbia by Pambelé and PulciPerla. PulciPerla is an encounter of Colombian female trio La Perla and the iconoclastic French band Pulcinella. Check out their debut album Tatekieto full of powerful trance-like Afro-Colombian music in the spotlight on Radio Mukambo.
