Continuing with Mizik Maladi, a compilation by the Caribbean label Disque Debs with disco, zouk and kompas from the 1970’s & 80’s via Strut Records. Then, the Wagadu Grooves vol.2 compilation on the sound of the Malian Wassoulou diaspora in Paris out via  Hot Mule, and the Ghanaian highlife group Santrofi and their groovy highlife sound via Outhere Records.

We move into uptempo mode with Colombian band Los Pirañas and their tropical guitars via Glitterbeat Records, Colombian artist El León Pardo and his ancestral electronica via AYA Records, and the industrial Arabic darkwave of Belgian-Iraqi trio Use Knife via VIERNULVIER.
