Sinkane, led by multi-instrumentalist Ahmed Gallab, crafts genre-defying music by blending soul, funk, electronic, and Sudanese pop influences.

Their eighth studio album, We Belong, is a mix of pop, funk, and electronic elements with a rich infusion of Sudanese rhythms.

Gallab describes it as his “love letter to Black music,” with tracks spanning different eras and styles, from gospel to Quiet Storm-influenced afrobeats, 70s funk, and Stevie Wonder-inspired melodies.
