N’Faly Kouyaté, an artist hailing from Guinea and a member of the renowned Afro Celt Sound System, has recently released his latest single, “Premiers Pas,” anticipating his upcoming UK tour. Sung in a fusion of French and Malinké languages, the song conveys Africa’s pursuit of autonomy.
The release is complemented by a visually captivating music video shot in South Africa, symbolizing continental unity in the quest for freedom. “Premiers Pas” stands as a compelling anthem, advocating for global recognition of Africa’s right to self-determination.
N’Faly Kouyaté’s unique musical style, known as Afrotronix, brings a contemporary blend of electronic and traditional elements. Speaking about the new single, he expressed, “I am raising a cry with ‘Premiers Pas’ to demand total autonomy for Africa. This song is the expression of the determination of an entire continent to finally take control of its destiny.”
