Manu Chao has unveiled “Tu Te Vas,” the third single from his forthcoming album Viva Tu, which is set for release on 20th September via Because Music. Following the tracks “Viva Tu” and “Sao Paulo Motoboy,” this new single is a tender ballad about two souls parting ways. Sung in both French and Spanish, it features a collaboration with French rapper Laeti, known for her role in the TV series Validé. The song captures the pain of separation while maintaining a hopeful tone, reflecting Manu Chao’s signature blend of heartfelt emotion and simplicity.
Viva Tu will include 13 new tracks inspired by Manu Chao’s travels and global experiences, with notable collaborations such as Willie Nelson on “Heaven’s Bad Day.”
Manu Chao has also announced his first London show in 14 years at the O2 Brixton Academy on 22nd September, where he will be accompanied by his long-time musicians and friends Lucky Salvadori, Miguel Rumbao, and Mauro Metralla in an acoustic format.
