Gaïsha is a collaboration between Belgian-Moroccan singer Aïcha Haskal and accomplished musicians from the Belgian music scene. They blend oriental and psychedelic musical elements with Aïcha’s versatile vocals, incorporating Arabic chants, parlando, and rap.

Growing up in a family where playing music was taboo for women, Aïcha’s journey to becoming Gaïsha’s leading lady has been marked by challenges, from her secret involvement in the Brussels hip-hop scene to breaking into the male-dominated world of classical Arabic music.

Their debut album Ana Aïcha (out via Zephyrus Records) reached number 1 on the World Music Charts Europe in April 2023.
