Cacao Mental, the Milan-based Italo-Peruvian trio led by Kit Ramos, follows their 2022 self-titled debut with the 2024 single “Baby,” available on all digital platforms through La Tempesta Dischi. The track, which features Spanglish lyrics celebrating love, is designed as a collective ritual.

Their live performances offer a unique blend of improvisation and synthesised sounds, creating a tribal ceremony of technological animism. With shamanic vocals, electronic grooves, trumpet motifs, and lysergic guitar riffs, the band embodies a cumbia state of mind, integrating diverse influences from mariachi to pop culture.
