Plenty of new sounds on Radio Mukambo starting with UFO Collective‘s debut album from the outer realms of the universe. Out on a journey to apply new grooves and sounds to reggae & dub galaxies.
We continue with transglobal sounds served by the hybrid trance jazz ensemble re#encounter from Brussels. Its debut “angels and demons at play” is an uplifting mix of gnawa grooves, cumbia chants, griot stories and ecstatic improvisations.
We finish with “Canto”, new album by Lima-based jazz ensemble Oriente Trio, exploring Peruvian tropical music, particularly its Amazonian traditions, from a contemporary and experimental perspective.
