Daily Discovery: Dub Pistols x Freestylers x Belle Humble – Give You Love

“Give You Love” brings Dub Pistols, Freestylers and Belle Humble together as the fourth single from joint album Enter The Sound, out 16 January 2026 on Cyclone Records.

The track runs on electronic dub foundations with heavy drums, thick sub-bass and trip-hop edges, and Humble’s vocal carrying a lyric about unconditional love. It sits alongside three earlier singles from the album, “Ska Train” with JA13 and Derrick Morgan, “Back On The Circuit” with Harry Shotta and “Hold Up Your Hands” with Jonny Osbourne, while “Give You Love” places more emphasis on melody and song.

Humble, a British-Canadian singer-songwriter, last worked with Freestylers duo Aston Harvey and Matt Cantor on “Cracks“. She wrote “Give You Love” “to channel the frequencies of unconditional love and compassion”, aiming for a track that brings “light, comfort, connection and a reminder that people are seen, supported and loved”.

Enter The Sound is the first full album from two UK electronic acts who have known each other since the mid-1990s big beat period and have shared stages and studio time for years. The record covers reggae, ska, hip-hop, triphhop, breakbeat and jungle, with guests including Jonny Osbourne, Tippa Irie, General Levy, Too Many T‘s, Horseman and Derrick Morgan, often named as one of ska’s founding voices.

Dub Pistols, led by Barry Ashworth, and Freestylers both come out of the same 1990s UK big beat period and have stayed active through clubs, festivals and studio work. Freestylers built their name on singles such as “B-Boy Stance”, “Ruffneck” and “Push Up”, while Dub Pistols have moved through a run of albums including Frontline and set up their own Mucky Weekender festival. Their shared history sits inside a strand of UK electronic music that links rave, soundsystem culture and live band shows.

Enter The Sound is released 6 March via Dub Pistols’ label  Cyclone Records. The two groups tour the UK from March to May, including Princess Pavilion Falmouth (6 March), KOKO London (7 March), Gorilla Manchester (28 March), Arts Club Loft Liverpool (17 April) and in-store shows at Banquet Records Kingston, Rough Trade Bristol and Nottingham, Brudenell Social Club Leeds and Resident Brighton, with Kingston already sold out.
