On Friday January 10th we have a night of culture-bending, high energy sounds to blow the New Year blues away, as Eastern European, Balkan, Romani sounds collide with Turkish/SWANA fusion with the brilliant Balamuc and Zelt!

Although renowned for their fierce violin and heartfelt melodies, headliners Balamuc are best known for their life-affirming spirit and boundless energy, bringing a unique, global take to the traditional songs of Eastern Europe. Roughly translating to “House of Insane” in Romanian, they’ve brought the party to venues across the city. On this special night the talented Janos Kallai will be guesting with the band, raising our spirits with his virtuosic skills on the Hungarian folk instrument, the cimbalom.
