Aswad, one of the most iconic reggae groups to ever emerge from the UK, is set to take the stage at the Jazz Cafe in Camden on Sunday.

With 21 studio albums across five decades, Aswad has become an iconic presence in the UK reggae and earned a reputation for its unique blend of roots reggae, R&B, and soul.

Formed in North London in 1974, the group first made its mark in the late ’70s, and has since become one of the most respected and influential names in the reggae scene scoring two UK Hit Singles with “Don’t Turn Around” and “Shine” .

The gig will be a rare chance for Londoners to experience the unmistakable Aswad’s sound in an iconic venue.
