Our albums of the month start with British composer Jasmine Myra and her warm spiritual jazz, followed by French artist Naïssam Jalal and her classical indian inspired jazz, Ghanaian musician Nana Osei Twum Barima and his soft highlife folk, compilation Les Belgicains from 1960’s Congolese students in Belgium, Kurdish-Turkish Danish band AySay and their psychedelic Anatolian sound and Brussels band Popdragon and their psychedelic jazz-rock.

Colombian-French group Nuevos Rios brings sunny marimba songs inspired by Pacific Colombia, Napoli group Nu Genea bring Napolitean disco grooves, Mauritanian singer Yassine Nana and his pop-folk sounds, Moroccan producer Aziz Konkrite and his electronic Maghreb beats and Kenyan-German trio Odd Okoddo & Ogoya Nengo with electronic Kenyan folk for clubs.
