We have 11 albums of the month, starting with Belgian-Iranian folk group Echo’s Van De Bergen via Zephyrus Records; a compilation of Cambodian singer So Savoeun and her Sarawat style via Akuphone; French-Moroccan jazz musician daoud and his contemporary sounds via Actmusic; Brussels trio Glass Museum and their jazz-meets-beats sound on Sdban Records; and Brussels international trio KAU with their jazz and UK-inspired electronic influences, also on Sdban Records.

London duo Matthew Herbert &Momoko Gill bring soulful and playful house music via Strut Records, while Lebanese artist Yasmine Hamdan delivers an ode to Lebanon in a powerful sound via Crammed Discs. Cape Verdean artist Fidju Kitxora, based in Lisbon, offers underground funaná beats, while Loya & M’Madi Mwégné mix traditional music from the Comoros Islands with electronica via Lezardzebre. KasbaH & friends present a compilation of electro Maghreb and Arab bass on Nowadays Records, and American producer Bastiengoat closes with Afro-bass and breaks.
