We have 11 Albums of the Month, starting with Belgian trio Basile Rahola in Arabic jazz tones, Brussels-based Italian trio Peixe e Limão and their warm jazzy folk songs, American artist Damon Locks and his spoken word jazz sounds, and the Outernational group Derya Yıldırım & Grup Şimşek with their deep Turkish folk rock & grooves.
Continuing with Tunisian-Moroccan duo Aïta Mon Amour and their electronic cheikhate sound, Cape Verdean artist Mario Lucio and his album exploring Luso & African dance styles, plus a compilation featuring Uzbek disco, Tajik folktronica, and Tatar jazz from the 1980s.
Ending with grooves & electronica by Venezuelan producer Caribombo, Brussels quartet ECHT! and their electro-jazz & clubby bass, Brussels-based producer La Dame and her global grime & dubstep vibes, and La Réunion artist Jako Maron with his deep minimalist maloya electro.
