This week we travel to Eastern Africa with Entoto Band‘s modern Ethiopian funk. The collective based in the Netherlands reinterprets classics from Ethiopia and Eritrea, and writes their own songs in the same idiom. Their debut is our album of the week.
While Ozferti‘s previous releases highlighted the Ethiopian territory in all its musical diversity, the French producer goes into a new direction on “Drum Langague”, more club, more electronic, darker.
