The song is from Ruhiya’s debut album GINHAWA, which was released in June 2022. The album explores themes of nature, spirit, dreams, the feminine, and love, and was produced by award-winning multi-instrumentalist Zayn Mohammed.

Ruhiya, a UK-based singer-songwriter and sound healing practitioner, fuses soul, folk, and sacred chants to express divine remembrance and share stories inspired by her matriarchal Visayan Filipina roots.
