Enjoy “Outubro,” the new single from Milton Nascimento and Esperanza Spalding‘s upcoming album Milton + Esperanza, available on the 9th of August.

Milton + Esperanza is Spalding’s first new album since her Grammy-winning Songwrights Apothecary Lab in 2021. This album features 16 tracks, including reimagined Nascimento classics, new songs by Spalding, and unique covers of The Beatles and Michael Jackson. Special guests include Paul Simon, Dianne Reeves, and Lianne La Havas.

Recorded mainly in Brazil, this album celebrates the long-time friendship between Nascimento and Spalding. It highlights the importance of generational collaboration with contributions from Spalding’s core band and several Brazilian musicians.
