Maëlan is a Belgian singer, songwriter, and producer who draws inspiration from African music, reggae, hip-hop, grime, and dubstep.
His latest single “A Jaraama” is a collaboration with Malick Pathé Sow, a Senegalese griot. The song, which means “thank you” in Pulaar, is a tribute to love beyond blood ties.
It was recorded between Brussels, Dakar, and London, and was composed, produced, and mixed by Maëlan himself.
