Daily Discovery: La Pambelé – Perdí Mi Corazón

La Pambelé, Bogotá’s acclaimed salsa dura orchestra, has released “Perdí Mi Corazón,” a standout single from their second album, Nací Mestizo, out now via Discos Elgozo. The song channels the raw spirit of 70s salsa brava, telling a heartfelt story of heartbreak and resilience through bold rhythms. The song captures the ache of lost love, wrapped in irresistible salsa rhythms that keep feet moving and spirits high.

Nací Mestizo celebrates Colombia’s cultural diversity with vibrant arrangements and collaborations, including the title track featuring Nicoyembe, an Afro-Colombian folklorist who brings a rich blend of Caribbean coastal and African influences.

Led by Camilo Toro Morato, La Pambelé’s nine-piece orchestra—featuring trumpet, trombone, timbales—is powered by the commanding vocals of Miguel RoRebolledo and Lorena Contento. Their music stays true to the spirit of classic salsa, igniting wild dance floors and earning acclaim from outlets across Colombia and Latin America, including Radio Nacional de Colombia and Latina Stereo.
