The title track from his latest album, released on 13 September 2024 via Heavenly Sweetness, is a captivating blend of afrobeat, jazz, hip-hop, and funk. Its powerful lyrics explore themes of identity, origins, and personal truth, making it both thought-provoking and emotive.
Backed by his talented band—featuring Owen McIlwraith-Browns on bass, Ben Haskins on guitar, Theo Goss on drums, Jasper Akos on keys, Felix Burling on trumpet, Harry Fowler on saxophone, and vocalists Sunday Lendis and Amy Jen Clark—the session delivered intricate drum rhythms, powerful basslines, and vibrant horn arrangements complementing K.O.G’s genre-blending sound. His strong stage presence and emotive delivery further elevated the set.
