Tru Thoughts Records has recently released a double A-side single from Fybe:One, a South London-based producer, DJ, illustrator, and graphic designer.

“Don’t Let Go,” one of the two tracks on the release, features the soulful and jazzy vocals of Liam Bailey, a singer/songwriter who has collaborated with established artists like Chase & Status and Shy FX. Bailey was inspired to write the lyrics for “Don’t Let Go” after a close friend’s marriage ended. The track will be included in Fybe:One’s second album, This Is Ours, along with “You Go Down Smooth,” which features Georgia Blackwell.

Fybe:One’s unique sound combines downtempo, ambient, and bass-driven beats, with intricate soundscapes, deep basslines, and atmospheric textures. The music often features haunting vocal samples and glitchy percussion, and is influenced by genres like dubstep, future garage, and IDM. In addition, Fybe:One draws inspiration from jazz, classical music, and experimental electronic music.
