Giorgio Cencetti, professionally known as DJ Farrapo, is a musicologist, DJ, producer, samba enthusiast, and amateur cook. He started his career as a keyboard player in the late 80s and recorded several albums and singles. Since the mid-90s, he has been working as a DJ and has played in the most important clubs in Europe. His style is characterised by grooves and Brazilian music, but he also explores musical traditions in different geographical areas.

“Una Cumbia Maldita” is his latest creation, featuring a Colombian gaita melody by Carlo Maver and vocals by Barcelona-based singer Clara Andrés. The single also includes two remixes by DJ Nirso and DJ/producer Ka:lu, with contributions from Paolo Prosperini, Oscar Martin del Rio, and DJ Lucio K.
