Based in Paris, Banda de Rolé is a band formed by six friends with a common passion for Capoeira. Their diverse cultural and musical backgrounds, hailing from Brazil, West Africa, North Africa, the Caribbean, and Reunion Island, converge to create a unique Afro-reggae sound.

Their highly anticipated album, Pega Visao, is slated for release in 2023, following the success of their debut album, No Mundao de Rolé, which was released in 2013.

The group’s “Axé” or positive energy is a driving force behind their music, with socially conscious lyrics promoting cultural exchange, sharing, and respect for diversity in Brazil and beyond.
