Blick Bassy‘s 5th album, Madíbá, (released in May 2023 via InFiné) follows the success of his previous works Akö and 1958.

Sung in the Bassa language of Cameroon, this album comprises ten water-themed fables, showcasing Blick Bassy’s evocative voice alongside guitar, synth-pop melodies, and brass arrangements.

‘LoBa’ is the latest single extracted from the album and blends soul, folk, and electro elements, offering a modern and poetic African experience that also addresses issues like the climate crisis and water access.
