Beninese artist Angelo Rascool releases “SIDA,” a reggae rub-a-dub single from his upcoming album Réchauffement. Sung in Fon, the track delivers a stark reminder that HIV/AIDS remains a threat, urging people to stay vigilant and protect themselves.
Known for his socially conscious music blending reggae, blues, and global influences, Rascool writes from personal experience, singing in Fon, French, and English. Now based in Le Mans, France, he continues his global journey, shaping music influenced by his West African roots and raw emotion.
Réchauffement follows his 2016 album I Have Something with his band Jamafrica, featuring guitarist Nano. Other singles from the album, “Suffer” and “Ukraine,” have already been unveiled, tackling themes of resilience and solidarity.
