At a recent Tiny Desk concert, French-born Chilean rapper Ana Tijoux performed a set including tracks from her new album Vida, her first in ten years. The performance featured a mix of danceable Latin beats and poignant lyrics, reflecting on cultural and political issues.
Tijoux paid tribute to Chilean musician and activist Víctor Jara with the song “Vida,” joined by guest vocalist Monica Blaire. The set list also included “1977,” “Óyeme,” and “Sacar la Voz,” supported by musicians Federico Rocha, Raúl Moya, Nicolás Castillo.
