ABI Afrobeat, founded by Isaac Koffi, emerged from his decade-long journey from Abidjan to Toulon via Ouagadougou, where he cultivated his musical style since 2012.

In 2022, Koffi united seven talented musicians to blend African, Caribbean, and jazz influences, resulting in ABI’s unique sound. Their debut EP, Yayasse, released in May 2024 through Studio 18 Records, embodies a profound connection inspired by the Ivorian Bété culture.

The band is renowned for its dynamic live performances and socially conscious lyrics, prominently featured in their single “Best Friend.”
