“Qué Loquera”, roughly “What Madness”, is a merengue-driven satire of a planet cooking itself, and of the lovesick singer going down with it. As the world falls apart, Nene del Solar reaches for aguapacheo, his word for wet-kissing on the dancefloor, as the way to carry the grief of man-made catastrophe.

The song runs deconstructed Caribbean rhythms, digital synthesisers and chanted onomatopoeia into salsa tumbaos rewired for the dancefloor. It takes the dance straight through the madness of its title, and its AI-generated video turns the tool on itself, a direct hit at artificial intelligence, tech-bros and the way digital life burns through the planet, made by Fabián Mosele and Ali Bardavid. That mix of homemade tropical machines and end-of-the-world dread puts the track in the frame of Caribbean futurism: speculative art that faces down climate collapse and the plunder of the Global South from the region’s own rhythms and beliefs, keeping the machines and dropping the worship of them.
