“Seu corpo que disfarça a tatuagem do desejo”: a body hiding the tattoo of desire. That is where “A Cor do que Eu Quero” opens, two people at close range, concealing things from each other anyway. Roberta Campos wrote it and sings it with Mari Froes, and it anchors Coisas de Viver a Dois, out 29 May 2026 on Sonora Digital: her album Coisas de Viver re-recorded as duets, one guest per song, with the band that toured it for a year.

Campos comes from Caetanópolis, a small town in Minas Gerais, and has written for Brazilian radio and telenovelas for nearly two decades. Froes is younger, from Anápolis in Goiás; her version of “Vaitimbora” went round the world last year. They swap verses over Campos’s nylon-string guitar, Amanda Barbosa‘s drums kept low and close, Diogo Ville laying a wash of keys underneath, Jackson Lourenço and João Elbert filling in the edges on bass and electric guitar. When the chorus arrives they sing it together, close enough that the harmony feels like conversation.

The song is about living with someone. Not the honeymoon part, the everyday part: desire, arguments, the way one sentence can change the mood of a whole house. Campos gets it into three words: “Palavras mudando tudo”, words changing everything.
