Mix: Radio Mukambo #592 – Ancient Trance Revolution

Nashwa is an Arab electronic duo by Moroccan singer Ghizlane Melih and Brussels-based drummer, composer & beatmaker Alix Pilot. The name Nashwa is Arabic for euphoria, ecstasy or trance, inviting us for a transcendental musical experience.

Cocanha are at the forefront of a new generation of French artists who have been breathing new life into French folk, or ‘trad’. Flame Folclòre, their third album, presents collective joy as a political act.

Spellbreakers‘ new album Revolution combines roots reggae with a punk spirit. Socially engaged lyrics reflect on the turmoil the world is facing, while offering strength and hope. The time is now, join the Revolution!
