The ‘Moussow Women’ music video is part of the Mali America Music Project co-produced by Sinaly “Papa Zani” Diabaté and Lindsey Schust. Filmed in New Hampshire and Mali, it features the Black Diamond Drummers and members of the Malian National Ballet.
The song advocates for women’s respect worldwide and celebrates African women’s contributions, sung in Bambara and English. It’s available for streaming and part of a larger album project.
Papa Zani and Lindsey collaborate since 1996, blending modern and traditional Malian styles. Both draw inspiration from their artistic family backgrounds.
