Samedia Shebeen
9pm-2am
The Jam Jar, Bristol
The Samedia Shebeen started life in 2010 as a touring festival tent, transporting late-night party people to an imaginary jungle den-cum-lost township shebeen.
With full, immersive set design and décor, and a soundtrack spanning old and new sounds of Africa, the Caribbean, Latin America, the Middle East and beyond, Samedia has proven a big hit across clubs and festivals. Samedia have popped up at The Roxy Arthouse during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, appeared as a regular clubnight at venues across Edinburgh and Glasgow, hosted a stage at Nyege Nyege in Uganda and travelled to UK festivals Boomtown, We Out Here, Kelburn Garden Party and many more.
