Nottingham-based artist Origin One has just released a new EP called Step In Time via Tru Thoughts 

The album, which enjoys vocal contributions from Rider Shafique, Nadia Latoya (MELONYX), Charlie P, and K.O.G, is a musical journey through reggae’s history, showcasing both vocals and instrumentals from Origin One.

Help Musicians UK funded the EP, which is available on a limited 200-press vinyl.

The latest single from the EP, “Just Beginning,” features Nadia Latoya from MELONYX and is a classic lover’s rock groove with a nod to reggae roots from the 70s. Nadia’s soulful vocals complement Origin One’s production, which is heavily influenced by her love for reggae since childhood and her uncle, King Jammy‘s, records.
