We’re halfway through the year already which means we’re officially in scorcher territory both meteorologically and musically!

Joining us on the first Sunday in June will be journalist, musician and producer/engineer extraordinaire – CHRIS LANE – who was one of Tighten Up’s first ever guest selectors over 25 years ago. Chris has lost none of his passion for collecting and spinning killer 45s and he’s probably forgotten more about Jamaican Popular Music than most of us will ever know. Good. Because he’ll be drawing tunes alongside the mighty SAMMY DE NERO – one of the most knowledgeable and in-demand selectors on the vintage vinyl circuit. Sammy is steeped in the history, tradition and culture of London’s Sound System and Blues Dance scenes and never fails to deliver the musical goods!

As such, you can expect an all-killer-no-filler selection of Reggae, Ska, Rocksteady, Roots and Dub of the highest order for your listening/skanking pleasure!
