A special morning concert that will transport you to India through the sounds of the bansuri (flute). The charismatic duo, Pravin Godkhindi and Shashank Subramanyam unravel romantic morning ragas.
Grab yourself a morning chai and be transported to India at this Sunday morning concert titled Morning ragas on the bansuri, performed by the great masters Godkhindi and Subramanyam. Pravin Godkhindi is a household name in south India and Shashank Subramanyam is a GRAMMY nominated flute maestro. The humble flute, made from bamboo, possesses the very fabric of nature’s sounds thorough the breath of these grand masters.
The duet unravels romantic morning ragas, bringing the two different styles of Indian classical music known as Hindustani (north India) and Carnatic (south India) together with rhythmic accompaniment of India’s tabla master, Ojas Adhiya and ghatam master, Ghatam Karthick.
