Strictly reggae music on Radio Mukambo this week, with two surprising albums of the week. The first, “Ready For Battle” by Marcus Gad, is conscious reggae music from New Caledonia. The second, “Dreaming from an Iron Gate” is a remix album by the French dub producer Brain Damage for the 20th anniversary of the groundbreaking reggae meets jazz album “Hebron Gate” by the reggae band Groundation from California.
There’s also some raggamuffin by Monkey Jhayam, JLB Riddim and great dub by Arky Starch, Paolo Baldini Dubfiles, Ezra Collective, Dubtown Abbey & beyond!
