After introducing Don Jaga and his Afro-Luso urban sound, it’s time to do the same with the main act of our upcoming Sounds of the World gig at the Garrison Church, happening on Sunday 18th of July organised in partnership with Tramshed.

As well as being a good old friend of Rhythm Passport, Mohammed Yahya is a 360-degree artist who adopted rap and spoken word as messengers for his artistic vision.

Co-founder of the Afro-Caribbean duo Native Sun, poet, educator and event organiser, in his music he blends his Southern African cultural roots (from his native Mozambique) with the London soundscape instilling in them striking messages promoting equality, social justice and environmental change.
