East London-based trio ZELT have released “Ben Giderim Batum’a,” a captivating reimagining of a traditional Georgian song about a lover preparing to leave for battle.

ZELT fuses SWANA influences with post-punk and electronic elements, showcasing Semra Bulut’s haunting vocals and darbuka rhythms alongside Dave Adams’s quartertone-fretted guitar and Phil Seddon’s inventive electronic production.

“Ben Giderim Batum’a” marks an exciting new chapter for ZELT as a trio and is featured in their debut album, İstanbul’u Dinliyorum, released in October.
