Venezuelan singer-songwriter Yosune, now based in Portugal, released her EP Madre Tierra on the 15th of November. The title track, “Madre Tierra,” is a heartfelt tribute to the Earth, carrying a message of gratitude and a call to reconnect with nature and our true selves.
Produced by Quico Serrano, the EP weaves together Latin American, folk, and pop influences, highlighting Yosune’s poetic lyricism and deep social awareness. It explores themes of loss, hope, freedom, and celebration, offering a vibrant reflection on human connection and environmental harmony.
Starting her musical journey at the age of seven with the Venezuelan cuatro, Yosune draws on her rich cultural roots in her work. Madre Tierra is a powerful and timely reminder of our bond with the planet.
