Recorded at ATA Studios, the album skilfully blends elements of Ethiopian jazz and Ethio-groove, capturing the essence of this distinctive musical style. The core trio, consisting of Neil Innes on bass, Joost Hendrickx on drums, and Richard Ormrod on various instruments, masterfully creates a fusion of rhythms and melodies that pay homage to the Ethiopique tradition while infusing their unique funky energy into each track.
