Seun Kuti & Egypt 80 have released a new version of “Love & Revolution,” featuring New York-based French-Caribbean artist Adi Oasis. Dubbed the “Cinnamon Version,” this remix adds a soulful layer to the original track from Heavier Yet (Lays The Crownless Head), released last year via Record Kicks. The song, inspired by Kuti’s wife and Egypt 80’s backup singer Yetunde Kuti, celebrates love as a revolutionary force and the strength of African women.

Adi Oasis, known for her smooth vocals and bass-driven sound, enhances the track’s energy and message. “I’m honoured to be part of this,” she said. “The song celebrates the divine feminine, and I couldn’t dream of a better subject to sing about.”

The remix will feature on the upcoming deluxe edition of Heavier Yet (Lays The Crownless Head), set for release later this year.
