Naya Rockers and Clinton Fearon have released their new single, “Come With Us,” on 19 July 2024. The track is from the forthcoming album Higher Education, which champions themes of acceptance, inclusion, and joy. This release, featuring soulful lyrics by Fearon addressing marginalised communities, supports music education at the Alpha Music Institute in Kingston, Jamaica, with proceeds from the album contributing to this cause.
Recorded at Floki Studios in Iceland and Tuff Gong Studios in Kingston, the album showcases Fearon’s distinctive vocals alongside Naya Rockers’ vibrant reggae sound.
Naya Rockers, led by US-based drummer Nathan Sabanayagam, have extensive experience touring and recording with both legendary and emerging reggae artists.
Clinton Fearon, a pivotal figure in reggae since his days with The Gladiators and later with The Boogie Brown Band, continues to influence the genre with his meaningful musical narratives. This collaboration merges Jamaican roots with contemporary sounds, aiming to make a lasting impact on music education for underprivileged youth.
