La Punkaravane launches into 2025 with “Punkistan”, a fiery blend of ska-punk and Balkan brass that expands their unmistakable sound. After more than 15 years on the road and over 350 shows across France and beyond, the band continues to evolve while staying true to its rowdy, DIY roots.

“Punkistan” is a sonic journey to an imagined Balkan microstate, anarchic, self-governed, and fuelled by music. The track explodes with punchy offbeat guitars, blaring horns, and a stomping rhythm section, capturing the wild energy of a festival in full swing. The lyrics celebrate rebellion and resilience, evoking a place where punk, ska, and folk traditions collide in a chaotic, beer-drenched revelry.

This latest release follows 2024’s “On Sert À Rien”, marking the band’s first new music of the year and setting the tone for what’s to come. Still drenched in sweat after every show, La Punkaravane proves they’re as unstoppable as ever.
